From the Sale 87: Ribbed Blue and Red Bowl

Ribbed Blue and Red Bowl
Red/white mix clay; noxema blue glaze in ribs and some interior, randy's red glaze over all; 7.5" diameter and 4.5" high

This was a bowl I had made for the sale back in November. It is a simple mixing bowl to which I added ribbing on the side for a better grip.

I put blue glaze in the ribs and at the rim, then splattered a little blue on the interior. After, I dipped the whole thing in Randy's red. I cant tell whether I like the way the blue dripped from the ribs... it made this odd white/yellow lines in the ribs and then the blue a little below. I think if I were to do this again, I'd try to get the red glaze a little thinner so that more blue came through.

I'd also hold back a little more on the interior... too many swirls make rose angry
